So, picture this: it was 2016, and there it was, the magnificent Weber Q Grill, shining like a star in Michigan on the shelf of a local hardware store. We were visiting friends when we found ourselves at a hardware store due to having been in a pickle while getting the Tepui (or should I say the mighty Thule Tepui Ruggedized Autana XL) installed.
I knew I'd never hear the end of it if I splurged on the grill back then, so I bided my time. Then, in May 2017, gearing up for an adventure at Long Point Provincial Park in Ontario, I finally saw my opportunity and snagged one from our trusty local Home Depot. And let me tell you, that grill has been the VIP of every camping trip since! It's practically part of the camping squad now!

THOUGHTS:
Despite its unconventional shape for packing among camping gear, the unique design of this grill turns out to be its greatest asset. The shape ensures even cooking, resulting in perfectly grilled food every time.

We appreciate the convenience of the electronic ignition system. With a simple turn of the propane and a press of a button, we can easily start cooking. Additionally, the grill offers effective wind protection, allowing us to use it confidently in various conditions.
The built-in thermostat on the lid provides us with precise temperature control, making it easy to know when to start cooking and monitor the cooking progress.
The attached side tables are a practical feature, allowing us to keep essential items like spices and condiments within reach.
While some users have pointed out the absence of a latch, which can make transportation to the campsite challenging, we have found that using the cover bag (sold separately) solves this issue well enough for us.
The grill's cooking versatility and power have enabled us to prepare a variety of dishes beyond just burgers and hot dogs. We now consider the Q Grill a staple for just about every camping trip, especially when catering to larger groups. It has effortlessly handled gatherings of up to 10+ people.
One of the standout features of the Q Grill is its durability. Made from high-quality materials, it has proven to withstand the rigors of outdoor cooking and frequent uses. This reliability gives us peace of mind knowing that our investment will last for many camping adventures yet to come.
Furthermore, the efficient heat distribution of the Q, ensures that food is cooked evenly, eliminating any worries about undercooked or overcooked meals. This consistent performance has elevated our outdoor cooking experience, allowing us to focus on enjoying the company of friends and family without constantly tending to the grill.
SUMMARY
Overall, the Weber Q Grill has become an indispensable part of our camping trips, enhancing our grilling adventures. Its reliable performance, and cooking versatility make it a valuable companion for any outdoor enthusiast seeking to elevate their outdoor cooking experience.
